Synopsis :

Suite à un mariage traditionnel et précoce, la réalisatrice d’origine turque, essaye de comprendre cet évènement marquant. Pour mieux comprendre son histoire, elle se penche sur l’héritage culturel de sa communauté et remonte le fil du temps jusqu’au mariage arrangé de sa mère. Puis, elle voyage jusqu’en Turquie, au village pour recueillir les confessions de sa grand-mère. A la fois pont et rupture, c’est une lettre filmée d’une mère à sa fille.

Following a traditional and precocious wedding, the director of Turkish origin try to better understand this outstanding event. She explores the cultural heritage of the community and goes back in time to the arranged marriage of his mother. Then she traveled to Turkey, to the village of her grandmother to collect confessions. Bridge and rupture in same time, it’s a filmed letter from a mother to her daughter.
